Sara offers free one-hour consulations to anyone in any part of Northern California who has recently acquired a new basset hound or has a problem basset.. For continued training, she offers a 50% discount and also gives a 10% donation to basset rescue. Sara works with all breeds in San Francisco, the 80 corridor and Georgetown/Auburn/Placerville regions.

Sara currently specializes in basic training, puppy socialization, kid & teenage training, senior dog issues, shy dogs, separation anxiety, multidog households and lifestyle management plans. She makes referrals for growly dogs and aggression issues to trainers with experienced in handling these types of cases. She also believes in Humane Education and kids who want to train their dogs. She has a B.S. in Education from Florida State University.

Sare is a graduate of the SFSPCA Dog Trainer Academy (Jan. 2008) and has studied and trained under Jean Donaldson, Janis Bradley, John Buginas, Bob Bailey, Terry Ryan, Mollie Tunks, Shirley Donovan, Marna Obermiller, Cerena Zutis, Kelly Ryan, Shannon Cummings and is currently an Intern in the SFSPCA Behavior Department and also a new observer at Javadogs where she is learning about work with dog-dog aggression.
